The University Park Elementary School PTA is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to come together, engage in meaningful discussions about how to support the teachers and staff, and contribute to enhancing our school community.
Join the UPES PTA!
Attend the meetings. The PTA relies on the support and guidance from the membership for spending priorities.
Volunteer to join PTA committees. The committees are the operational arm of the Board. They organize school events, fundraising activities, and teacher appreciation programs.
Become a parent chaperone. Accompany students at events and school outings that require volunteers. Chaperones will need to be fingerprinted and have a background check.
Are there dues to join?
There are no dues associated with joining the UPES PTA. The PTA welcomes all parents, caregivers, and community members to attend!

Fall Fest
Please join us for a UPES tradition, Fall Fest, on October 11, 2024. Students, Pre-K
through Grade 2, will enjoy a day of games and activities with their class in the school field.
The 2024 Azalea Classic was a SUCCESS!
A million thanks to race director, Jaime McGaughey, for another successful Azalea Classic! We all get to enjoy an amazing day with our school and neighborhood community thanks to Jaime and her team of volunteers!
And thank you to the UPES leadership, staff, and teachers who show up to support all the kids and the race. A special shout out to Ms. Neff who does so much for the event!
